Though we have just founded BIDA, we have a long and proud history in the area of Business Intelligence here in Romania.

The Phoenix Has Arisen
In the early 2000s we worked for Phoenix Software led by Marius Balaceanu. We were working in the newly developing area of Business Intelligence here in Bucharest.
We assembled what was then the leading team of BI specialists in the country. Our leading edge team included Dan Marina, Adrian Nagy, and Stefan Giuros among others. By 2006 we were the undisputed leaders of Business Intelligence in Romania.
With the entry of Romania in to the EU in 2007 opportunity knocked. We could stay here in Bucharest and be the leaders in a new, small and immature BI marketplace.
Or we could try our hands abroad and increase our skills by working in foreign countries on bigger and better BI projects.
So Phoenix Software disbanded and we went our separate ways to seek our futures and our fortunes.
BI has been good to us. We have been successful beyond our wildest dreams in the projects we have been able to be involved in over the last 15 years.
We never forgot where we came from and how we came to have our big opportunity to work on some of the worlds biggest and most sophisticated BI Projects.
In 2019, the business of BI in Romania is very different.
Today Romania is the “Silicon Valley” of Eastern Europe.
We have bright young graduates coming out of our universities that are the equal of any young graduates anywhere in the world.
We have decided to found BIDA to become the premier BI Consulting Company in Romania. We shall also market to Western Europe, the UK and the USA through our wide range of contacts.
We shall transfer our world class skills to the “best and brightest” young Romanian graduates. We shall provide them with career opportunities that they would not be able to gain any other way.
In short? We propose to reach back and help the best and brightest young Romanians make a similar journey to the one we have made ourselves.
Our Romanian and Eastern European customers will benefit from our world class BI skills transferred to the best and brightest Romanian graduates.
Our Western European, UK and USA Customers customers will benefit from world class BI skills at Romanian prices.
